Offseason Moves: Players Each Team Will Sign

Anaheim Ducks- Simon Gagne is a great fit for this first line heavy team looking for depth offensively. He will provide needed scoring to replace Teemu Selane who will likely retire or leave via free agency.

Atlanta Thrashers-Tim Connolly is the perfect player to play with Kane and the young Atlanta Thrashers. He can be the number one center that the Thrashers have been looking for.

Boston Bruins- Although they are the champions, they still have ways to improve like adding another D-man like Sami Salo. Even though he has injury problems he could cap off very good D-core.

Buffalo Sabres- Antti Miettinen could be a nice fit to a Roy and Vanek line. Potential 25 goal scorer, he could help round out the Sabres offense.

Calgary Flames- They flames have tried many veterans in the #1 center position but I think that Jason Arnott could fill that position well. Iginla and him would be a powerful 1-2 punch.

Carolina Hurricanes-Scottie Upshall is a gritty, hard working player that could score more than 20 goals when playing with Eric Stall.

Chicago Blackhawks- The Hawks need some cheap depth scoring and Chris Higgins is exactly that. He can help balance out the top heavy Blackhawks lineup.

Colorado Avalanche- Need a real goalie like Jean-Sebastien Giguere who has struggled in Toronto and could start fresh in Colorado and add some stability to their young core.

Columbus Blue Jackets- Need a good D-man and they will find it in Eric Brewer. He is a solid D-man on both sides of the puck and will help them be a better team.

Dallas Stars-Vaclav Prospal is a veteran forward who still has his scoring touch and might be able to partly fill the gap left by Brad Richards.

Detroit Red Wings- The Wings need D-man to fill the void left by Rafalski and soon by Lidstrom. Joni Pitkanen is a young puck moving D-man that could fill the void.

Edmonton Oilers-Josh Harding is one who could emerge to be a starting goaltender, stuck behind Backstrom in Minnesota.

Florida Panthers- They will need a goalie and Mike Smith will be there man. He will sign for cheap and can be a good number 1 goalie.

Los Angeles Kings- The Kings need a good winger to play with Richards and or Kopitar and Steve Sullivan is a good fit. The speedy winger could add some needed scoring and provide a veteran influnce.

Minnesota Wild- Michal Handzus will be happy to play as a top six forward on a not so deep team.

Montreal Canadiens- The Canadiens need to solidify their d core and Christian Ehroff will do that for them. He will thake over as their lead pp guy.

Nashville Predators- Michael Ryder is a scorer who could help lift the Preds offense while having a physical edge.

New Jersey Devils- Tomas Fleischmann is a low cap hit center that could potentially play on the first line.

New York Islanders- Curtis Glencross is the only free agent that will sign with a team as bad as the islanders.

New York Rangers- The Rangers need Brad Richards to kick start their offense to make them an instant cup contender. He is a great player and leader.

Ottawa Senators- The Senators will strike out in the market when they try to sign another aging offensive defensemen. Tomas Kaberle will be the man racking in the undeserved dough this season.

Philadelphia Flyers- The Flyers now want a mentor for all their developing talent. Rob Niedermayer is gritty and has cup experience.

Phoenix Coyotes- Ty Conklin is a short term fix to the Coyotes goaltending problems. They wont be able to attract a big name guy so they are going to be stuck with Ty.

Pittsburgh Penguins- Th Penguins still need a winger to balance out their team and Jamie Langenbrunner is a good option to help make them an even better team.

San Jose Sharks- The Sharks need a two way defense man like Kevin Bieksa to make them a legitiment contender. He will help lift the team to the next level

St. Louis Blues- The blues need a small market veteran to help develop its young d men. Craig Rivet will also be good 5th d man.

Tampa Bay Lightning- Tampa will need a big name to fill the void of Eric Brewer. James Wisniewski is the perfect man and he will make their pp even better.

Toronto Maple Leafs- Will need a number one center after loosing out on the Richards sweepstakes. Brooks Laich is no super star, but he will fill the void

Vancouver Canucks- Cory Stillman is a veteran looking for a cup. He will try to help lead the Canucks back to the cup again.

Washington Capitals- Thomas Vokoun is a goalie that could help the Capitals win the cup. He will end all the shenanigans over the young goalies.
