What the Flyers Should Do About Bryzgalov.

In my opinion there are 3 options to this. First trade a big name player most likely Carter or maybe Richards.
Jeff Carter

Mike Richards

Second trade some "lower" quality depth (for the flyers) like Hartnell and Bobrovski.
Scott Hartnell

Sergei Bobrosky

Or somehow unload the cap hit of Kimmo Timonen.

Or they don't sign Bryzgalov and sign Evgeni Nabakov a goalie who is looking for work and a team to win the cup with.

The first is the most likely to go through because of the value of what they are offering. They also have a short window to pull this off. That rules out the third option because it would take a decade to pull that deal off. Even the second option is poor because no team would pay 4 mil for a below average top 6 forward or a great role player. Leaving only the first option. A common rumor that I think would work out for both teams is Jeff Carter to the jackets for their 1st round pick (8th overall) and Jakub Voracek. He is a great young player that would make the Flyers a scary deep and young team.
