Stanley Cup Finals

The Stanley Cup Finals have been set for 2011, with the Vancouver Canucks and the Boston Bruins.  This, I believe, will be one the best series in the decade.  The teams are very well matched with Boston having spectacular goaltending as well as Vancouver, when Luongo isn't playing like a bonehead.  The defensive battle definitely goes to the Canucks who are deep on the back line with puckmovers and goal scorers.  While the Bruins are by no means weak on defense, they are not as deep as the Canucks.  Finally, up front I find it very even between both teams and don't see a large advantage either way.
My prediction is Boston winning in seven games.  I feel that Tim Thomas will completely outplay Roberto Luongo, with Thomas also capturing the Conne Smythe.  It will be a very high-scoring and hard fought series, but I see Boston being the better all-around team, deserved of the cup.
